Waterfront Construction
Waterfront construction is subject to overlapping review by state (FDEP / CCCL), federal (Army Corps, potentially USCG), county (DERM in Miami-Dade), and municipal authorities on top of the standard building code. Structural design must account for wind-driven flood, scour, and — in the HVHZ — elevated wind loads. Site logistics are constrained by tide, barge access, and neighborhood delivery windows.
